...for a ticket to an event if you knew that more than half your ticket was going towards a really incredible headliner?
Would you trust us here at area709, or would you only spend your money on a headliner you knew of?
Just curious.

Re: How much would you pay.....
Fri, May 13, 2005 - 10:44 AM$30 is probably the max id ever be willing to spend just to see a single headliner... and that wouldnt be on blind faith.
perhaps if you plan on bringing someone in who has minimal name recognision (and i fully acknowledge that there are some mindblowing unknown acts out there) i would suggest posting a couple promo mp3s or streaming audio on your website.

Re: How much would you pay.....
Wed, May 25, 2005 - 12:02 AMI don't think it's too crazy to charge $40 for an all night event -especially with all the local talent that is gaurenteed to be there, either way organizers aren't doing it to get rich and we all -know- this - but i'm a firm believer that organizers should be able walk away from an event with a little bit of compensation for all the time and effort that they put into events as well. -shrugs- if that means me paying an extra ten bucks, i'm glad to do it.
