That's right everyone, in order for this event to be a success, we will need it to be promoted by the communtiy, not just by area709 members. We only want to put on these events for eveyone to enjy, but in order for that to happen we will need help spreading the word!!
I know most people's energy will be going into Bloom (which is important!), but does anyone have any ideas on how we can get the word out there about Upplysa?

We will have the full flyer in about a week, And I will be sending out am email after that as well... sreading the word is a very imporant part of how the event turns out and we want to get people out of the woodwork so talking to lots of different people is imporant indeed.
We are really trying to create a tribal gathering, focusing on techno-shamanistic energies. We want to apeal to the creative spirit in all of us, and do so by throwing a very high quality event.
That in mind, don't be afraid to talk about the event in those terms to those who may have never been to such a gathering. This will not be a rave, this will be a chance for people to meet and share their vital energies.

Tue, April 5, 2005 - 6:48 PMjust a thought, you might want to hit up brucey boy at mec. he is also ultimate promoter! and the mec crew usually supplies a great vibe! also what about giving a pair of tix on cjsw? im not sure what the good shows are? also sarmad at that bar on 17th maybe a good spot! he knows all sorts of wierdos! and is there a post going on tribal harmonix? just to see if any crazy vancouver kids will come out!
