hello everyone,

so the gig is on! i have booked the scarboro community hall for july 7, 2006 from 7pm-12am for the community dance.

the address is 1727 - 14 Avenue SW. it is about 3 blocks west of the A&W on 14street SW. its right next to a tennis court and across the street from the scarboro church.

i am hoping that this will be the start of monthly or biweekly gatherings geared towards building a all ages, drug and alcohol free space to explore movement and creativity through music, dance and yoga.

this event will run from 7pm-12am and start off with a yoga warmup.

there will be a rotation of djs that will span the entire gambit of electronic music. everything from ambient, idm, dub, breaks, and progressive psy to allow everyone to dance to various beat and structures and chord progressions.

the cost of this event will be 6$/person and it will be paid at the door. this includes the workshop.

i ask everyone to bring their own water bottles, yoga mats and food for the evening as there will not be any available. there wil be a tap to fill water bottles and that is it.

i will post the dj line up and schedule very soon.
